New Maternity Matters Advisory Group (MMAG)

The Department of Health has formed a Maternity Matters Advisory Group (MMAG) which developed from the former Maternity Standard Implementation Advisory Group (MSIAG). The membership of this group was drawn from a wide range of key stakeholder groups and it produced a framework document "Maternity Matters: Choice, access and continuity of care in a safe service" which was launched on 3 April 2007. In order to support the implementation of this document, the new MMAG has been established.
