The Neonatal Unit at King George Hospital is called Jasmine
Ward and runs as a Level 1 Neonatal Unit. This means
that care is provided for babies born at 34 weeks or older, or for
babies born at full term with some illness.
VISITING
Parents are allowed on the unit on a 24 hour basis and there no
more than 2 visitors are allowed per cot at any time.
Grandparents and siblings are allowed in the hot room and there is
open visiting in the rest of the unit.
Due to the risk of respiratory infection, children under 10 years
are not permitted on to the unit between October and March.
