King's College Hospital is a major provider of medical and surgical Neonatal Intensive Care in the South East of England.

The Neonatal Unit runs as a Level 3 Unit. This means that care is provided for babies born at less than 27 weeks and for babies who are seriously ill.

The Newborn Unit, supported by WellChild, is on the 4th Floor of the Golden Jubilee Wing, a new building officially opened by the Queen in 2003.

When your baby is admitted you will be given a parent information booklet to help answer any questions you may have. To view this booklet please click here.
