A Network consists of hospitals with differing types of Neonatal Units. The purpose of each Network is to ensure that mothers and babies receive their care within their local Network and as close to home as possible.

The South West London Neonatal Network is made up of 5 neonatal units, based at:

  • St George's Hospital (providing Level 3 care)
  • St Helier Hospital (providing Level 2 care)
  • Kingston Hospital (providing Level 2 care)
  • Mayday University Hospital (providing Level 2 care)
  • Epsom General Hospital Neonatal Unit (providing Level 1 care)

Each unit has been designated to provide different levels of care i.e. Level 1 units provide Special Care, Level 2 units provide High Dependency Care and limited Intensive Care and Level 3 units provide the full range of Intensive Care.

This section of the website is specifically for parents and families who use the hospitals within our Network. The following pages will give you information on the services we provide, links to support groups; both local and national, information on the development of the London South East Perinatal Network and the opportunity to ask questions by contacting us directly.
