St Helier Hospital runs as a Level 2 Neonatal Unit. This means that
care is provided for babies born between 27 and 34 weeks, and for
babies born with a serious illness.
Facilities for sick and premature babies include a Neonatal Unit at
St Helier Hospital and a Special Care Baby Unit at Epsom General
Hospital. In total, they have 12 Intensive Care and High
Dependency cots and 18 Special Care Cots.
