Research

The Reserach & Development (R&D) / Audit Sub-group aims to maximise perinatal R&D opportunities and promote collaboration across the Network. In addition, it is necessary to identify the needs of the Network and promote and prioritise research and audit programmes which address these needs in collaboration with the other sub-groups.

The Sub-group membership consists of at least two representatives from each acute Trust ideally a neonatologist and obstetrician, however, the group is open to any other healthcare professional with an interest in research such as neonatal nurses, midwives and data managers.
