Clinical Governance and Practice Sub-group

The Network Clinical Governance and Practice Sub-group  (CG&P sub-group) membership includes clinical staff representatives from all the Trusts within the Network.

The sub-group is responsible for the development of all shared care policies and guidelines including transfer arrangements, resuscitation, infection control and the prevention of hypothermia.

The individual neonatal units and Trusts are responsible for reviewing and re-writing existing local guidelines and policies.

The Chairman of the group  serves for a period of 2 years with optional extension to 4 years with Network Board approval.

Current Chair - Dr Vinayak Pai , Consultant Neonatologist, Kingston Hospital.
